I had long admired Julia as she had spent some time with Travis of TNT Lusitanos, which also meant she spent some time in front of Tanya’s camera lens.  Julia always reminded me a lot of Jerico, so of course I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to purchase her.  She arrived with a buckskin filly, Uiara, by Marialva DC at side, who is owned by my friend Penny.   With her arriving later in the summer, we opted to leave her open for 2025. She was put back under saddle after Uiara was weaned, and our plan is to enjoy riding her for now.

Julia is a very sweet and trusting mare, and fully believes that the humans will take care of her worries.  Whether that is her filly not following her into the trailer, or the many, many itches inside her ears, she will look to the human with expectancy and wait for them to solve the situation.

Julia displays this same nature under saddle. Even if she is unsure or worried, she doesn’t put a foot wrong. She is beyond kind, and her exceptional mind makes her a very safe and amateur friendly mount.

She is also a doting momma, that truly loves motherhood.  It was so heartwarming to watch her gently touch Uiara to check in when they are moving around; you can just see the look of love on her face.  

We are so thrilled to have another Haras bred horse here, and will look forward to her raising some more foals in the future.
