When I came across a video of this mare, I was sold on her having a place in my program in about 6 seconds.  Further photos and videos did not change my mind, and she arrived in late Winter 2022.

Beyond her incredible movement, Maca also has a very neat personality.  If she spots something she is concerned with, she'll snort, check it out from all angles, and then march right up to investigate.  She is another horse that I would describe as sensitive but sensible, and she definitely requires connection to build trust with her people.

Additionally, she has the softest buttery eyes ever. It is challenge owning a horse like her, leaving us torn between wanting to ride her and wanting her to pass her amazing qualities on to the next generation. As those who follow us on social media will know, we have been looking forward to having a foal by Lider Seven. Unfortunately Maca has come up open again after positive preg and heart beat checks, so we are looking forward to riding her this winter before trying for a 2026 foal.
