After working with a clients Welsh ponies we had the idea that they would cross really well with the right Lusitano stallion, hopefully resulting in a good minded, athletic, large pony. Vinny is the result of that vision. Everyone that comes to visit falls in love with this bright little character.

Vinny’s arrival caught us by surprise, nearly 2 weeks early. It was evident right away that he is a pretty neat guy.
Unfortunately, Vinny lost his dam when he was a week old. Luckily, with the help of Westhills Equine Veterinary Services, he was grafted onto a lovely little mare by the name of Carl.
While he was still bottle/pail fed, having Carl has allowed Vinny to have an otherwise normal foalhood.
He is growing into a really neat colt, so far he has exceeded the expectations we had for this cross.
Our plan for Vinny is for him to be a personal project for my boys and I, unless a really perfect home presented itself.
